RALEIGH, N.C. – The Campbell University Norman A. Wiggins School of Law has announced that it will host Delta Theta Phi, an international professional law fraternity headquartered at the Campbell Law campus in downtown Raleigh, for its 57th biennial convention and leadership conference, which will be held Thursday, July 28 through Saturday, July 30, at the Clarion Hotel State Capital, located at 320 Hillsborough St. As an organization, Delta Theta Phi serves as a networking tool for students and professionals to enhance the education and career experience.

RALEIGH, N.C. – The North Carolina Bar Association recently honored Justice Paul. M. Newby, an adjunct professor at the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, as a 2011 recipient of the NCBA Citizen Lawyer Award. The award was presented at the NCBA Annual Meeting in Asheville.

Everett Professionalism Award from the Young Lawyers Division of the North Carolina Bar Association. The honor was given at an awards luncheon held in conjunction with the NCBA Annual Meeting in Asheville, North Carolina.
