RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA — Campbell Law School Professor Rick Glazier, newly appointed director of the Blanchard Community Law Clinic (BCLC), will soon join PBS NC’s State Lines, a 30-minute political news show, as a rotating panel member.
Glazier, who has been an adjunct professor at Campbell Law since 1991, is a former state legislator and most recently served as the executive director of the N.C. Justice Center before taking the helm of the BCLC in January.
As a broadcast media contributor, Glazier will appear frequently joining in on roundtable discussions with experienced political analysts, journalists and elected officials, who examine North Carolina’s top legislative issues, policies and their impact on North Carolinians. He will make his first appearance on the show on Friday, Feb. 10, at 8:30 p.m.
As a political media contributor, the former Legislator of the Year will provide his unique perspective on legislative moves utilizing his extensive knowledge and experience.
Glazier joined the N.C. Justice Center in the summer of 2015 following his resignation from the N.C. General Assembly after representing Cumberland County in the N.C. House of Representatives from 2003-2015. As a representative, Glazier served on the House judiciary, education, ethics and appropriations committees, among others. He received the North Carolina Bar Association’s Citizen Lawyer Award in 2012 and in 2015 was awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine by then Gov. Pat McCrory.
