Buies Creek, N.C.-Over 400 students from around the country are expected to descend on Campbell University for the school’s first Visitation Day for prospective students and their parents. The event is set for Monday, Jan. 18, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Visitors can expect to enjoy a number of interesting activities, including a special welcome by President Jerry M. Wallace and Dr. John Roberson, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing; an overview of the university, showcasing academic and personal opportunities; a meet and greet with each of the deans on campus; campus tours and a departmental open house, among others. Lunch will be served in McCall Court of Campbell University’s newly completed John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center.
“We are pleased to showcase our campus to such a large group of potential students,” said Adriane Karlinski, Campus Visits and Student Experiences Coordinator. “This will be a great opportunity for them to really experience Campbell University and what it has to offer.
Founded in 1887, Campbell University is a private, coeducational institution of the liberal arts, sciences and professions offering undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees. The university is comprised of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business, the School of Education, The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the Divinity School.
