By Vivian Chan, student writerLillian Renee Johnson is an extraordinary student.Johnson, 19, published her first novel, “In Each Other’s Dreams,” in her sophomore year at Campbell University. Her novel was featured on the first day of the National Library Week at Harnett County Public Library this year.Since 1958, National Library Week has been celebrating the contributions of nation’s libraries and librarians by inviting different local authors a well as readers together for one week every year.This year, more than 110 people attended the book fair including thirty-nine local authors. Authors included three Campbell University professors, William H. Freeman, Michael R. Smith, William P. Tuck and local author and speaker of the day, Margaret Maron.”It’s my first time to this book fair,” said Johnson, as she was signing for her new reader, “it was great to meet different people, who had or were struggling, but hadn’t given up and were creating different types of written art.” Johnson’s mother, Sherry Johnson, also came along for support. Johnson is currently brainstorming another series which follows the loves of member’s of a small church — as they struggle, go through temptation and learn to rely on God’s strength in love. “The book fair inspires me to continue writing,” said Johnson with a big smile.In Each Other’s Dream is available from Barnes & Nobles at Campbell University and online bookstores including www.PublishAmerica.com, www.Borders.com , and www.BarnesandNobles.com .
