Law School to host competitions during Campbell Giving Day

RALEIGHCampbell University will hold its annual Giving Day on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025.  Campbell Giving Day is the university’s annual day of giving when alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends come together to give a gift to Campbell, wear orange to show their pride and share why they give on social media. It is a day the Campbell community unites to celebrate its rich history and thriving future.

In preparation, Campbell Law School Dean J. Rich Leonard has announced several competitions and gift challenges. To get things started, four donors are offering matching gifts once the sum of all donations reaches the following amounts:

  • Brian Ricci ‘97 is donating $5,000
  • Judge Angelica Chavis McIntyre ’13 is donating $5,000
  • An anonymous supporter is donating $10,000 in honor of Patrick A. Pait ‘09
  • An anonymous donor is donating $20,000 in honor of Professors Matthew W. Sawchak and Michael B. Kent Jr.

The Campbell Law Alumni Association is also continuing its tradition of making a $5,000 gift to the class (1979 – 2025) that has the most individual alumni donors during Campbell Giving Day.

And the generosity of members of the 2026 Campbell Law Reunion classes (1981, 1986, 2001, 2006, 2016 and 2021) knows no bounds. The challenges and matches include:
