RALEIGH, North Carolina – Campbell Law School has been named the top performer in the country for bar exam by The National Jurist. The accolade marks Campbell Law’s third consecutive appearance on the list.
Per the publication, Campbell Law ranked first when looking at the classes of 2013 and 2014. Graduates passed at an average rate of more than 12.49 percentage points higher than predicted.
The complete list is available via The National Jurist Winter 2017 issue.
“It’s exciting for our efforts to be highlighted,” said Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard. “Although our bar passage scores have dipped slightly in recent years, as all North Carolina schools have, we are still outperforming by and large and putting our graduates in a position to succeed.”
In ranking institutions, The National Jurist looked at pass rates on a school-by-school basis and compared the actual pass rates for 2014 and 2013, the most recent data available, with the predicted pass rates to find the residual, or the difference between the two.
