RALEIGH, N.C. –Campbell Law School’s Men’s Legal Caucus (MLC) presented a $6,500 donation to First Tee of the Triangle on Thursday, July 26. All funds were raised during the group’s annual charity golf tournaments, the Campbell Law Classic, during the past two years. MLC President Grant Allison, presented the check to First Tee of the Triangle Director of Development Pat Nelli.

“Being able to donate such a substantial amount to First Tee of the Triangle means a lot to everyone in Men’s Legal Caucus,” said Allison. “We want to thank everyone who participated in the Campbell Law Classic golf tournament for their help and support. Knowing our fundraising efforts will directly benefit underprivileged children in our area makes all the hard work well worth it. This is just an example of how Men’s Legal Caucus and Campbell Law remain committed to public service and bettering our community.”
Founded in 1997, Men’s Legal Caucus seeks to foster fellowship among members of the Campbell Law community through group activities and philanthropic outreach. Since 1997, MLC has annually hosted the Campbell Law Classic, a philanthropic golf tournament.
“The First Tee of the Triangle is grateful for the ongoing support of the Men’s Legal Caucus at Campbell Law School,” said Nelli. “We are experiencing incredible momentum and growth and will proudly work with 2,800 young lives across the Triangle this year. The generosity of the Men’s Legal Caucus directly supports our programs that teach tools for self-management, interpersonal skills, goal setting, and resiliency all in the context of golf and Nine Core Values of honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, perseverance, confidence, respect, judgment, courtesy, and responsibility.
First Tee of the Triangle’s mission is to impact the lives of young people through the game of golf by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices.
