Campbell Business adjunct professor Heath named new state budget director

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory has named Campbell Business adjunct professor Andrew “Drew” Heath the new state budget director. Heath teaches the Legal and Regulatory Environment of Business course for the Campbell Business MBA program.

“Professor Heath has been an asset to our MBA program and our business school community as a whole,” said Campbell Business Interim Dean Dr. Edward Fubara. “We are excited for him to serve our state and our citizens in this role.”

Prior to his new role, Heath served as chairman of the North Carolina Industrial Commission following an appointment from Gov. McCrory in February 2013.

A graduate of UNC Asheville and Indiana University School of Law, Heath was in private practice from 2006-13.He has been named a Lawyers Weekly Emerging Legal Leader and one of Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite.
