RALEIGH — Campbell Law welcomed 166 new students with the beginning of its first-year orientation activities on Friday, Aug. 7. The students — 147 traditional students and 19 studying as a part of the Campbell FLEX program — represent 55 different undergraduate institutions and 43 majors.
“We are excited to begin a new academic year with an accomplished and aspiring class,” said Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard. “Now that our new first-year students are a part of the Campbell Law family, our entire faculty and staff are committed to doing everything we possibly can to ensure their success over the next three years and throughout their professional careers.”
Campbell Law’s new students began orientation by taking the Professionalism Oath. In addition to customary instructional meetings with faculty and staff, new students will participate in the eight-part Campbell Advantage orientation program, enjoy a social BBQ dinner at Haywood Hall, and take part in the annual Campbell Law Court Crawl — a tour all of the local, state, and federal courts in downtown Raleigh —throughout the remainder of orientation.
