Alumni sworn in before the Supreme Court of the United States

RALEIGH, N.C. – A dozen Campbell Law alumni were sworn in to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States on Wednesday, Nov. 30. The alums also enjoyed a private tour of the court and sat in on oral arguments for Jennings v. Rodriguez.

The trip was orchestrated by the Campbell Law Alumni Association exclusively for its members. Due to overwhelming interest, participants were selected by random draw due to strict party size limits enforced by the Supreme Court.

“This was a fabulous trip, and certainly an experience that these alumni will always cherish,” said Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard. “We hope to make this an annual excursion for members of our alumni association.”

In addition to the Supreme Court visit, the alumni association hosted a reception for D.C. area alums the evening prior at City Tap House with 30 people in attendance.
