Residents of Harnett County and surrounding areas of North Carolina voted for businesses and individuals to be named the Best of Harnett County 2019 in a contest run by The Daily Record newspaper.
Three alumnae and two preceptors from Campbell Pharmacy & Health Sciences were among the winners. In addition, Campbell University was voted the 2019 Gold winner in the College/University category, and Rhonda Torchio, PA-C, with ABC Pediatrics, won 2019 Bronze in the Pediatrician category. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2005 from Campbell.
