RALEIGH, N.C. – Dexter Smith,Campbell Law Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, participated in a panel discussion on law school admissions on Thursday, June 14. The panel discussion, “Getting into Law School: 10 Features of Every Great Personal Statement,” was held during the Pre-Law Advisors National Council Annual Conference in Washington, D.C.
Smith served on the panel alongside three fellow admissions professionals from law schools across the country.
“The session was standing room only, comprised of advisors from institutions across the nation,” said Smith. “We provided substantive information on the application process, as well as advising prospective students how to navigate it. We also discussed pitfalls for prospective students to avoid during the application process.”
