Buies Creek, N.C. – Shannon Ryals, assistant director of publications at Campbell University, took home the second place Silver award in the three-color Annual Report category and Best in Division for Publications from the Raleigh Public Relations Society’s Sir Walter Raleigh Awards held Tuesday, June 29, at the RBC Center in Raleigh. Ryals won the award for the Campbell University’s 2008-2009 annual report, “Energy of Orange.”
The objective of the University Report’s “The Energy of Orange” theme was to present a complete picture of the 2008-2009 year at Campbell, Ryals said.
“A lot of thought goes into a project like this,” said Ryals. “The goal of the report was to suggest the dynamic ‘energy’ of our institution by using black and white photography and a striking current of electricity throughout the piece. We have a great team that works together to make this piece eye-catching and accurate.”
