Buies Creek, N.C.—Billy Woodard, of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., has been elected to the Campbell University Board of Trustees. Woodard is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and president of The Fidelity Bank of Fuquay-Varina. He currently serves on the University’s Presidential Board.
Active in his community, Woodard and his wife, the former Mary Sue Farlowe of Robbins, N.C., are members of the Fuquay-Varina Presbyterian Church, where Woodard has served as a deacon. He has also been a director and served on the Executive Committee of the North Carolina Alliance of Community Financial Institutions.
Woodard earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Woodards are the parents of four children: Phil, Allan, Matthew and Mary.
