Bridges named to Prevent Child Abuse N.C. Board of Directors

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law Assistant Dean of Administration Ulmer Zack “Zeke” Bridges, III, has been named to the Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina (PCANC) Board of Directors. Bridges has been an active member of the organization since 2013, serving on the external relations committee.

“I am honored to have been named to this active and engaged board,” said Bridges. “As a father of two, the mission behind Prevent Child Abuse means a great deal to me, and I believe it’s one that everyone in our community can and should get behind.”

PCANC was founded in 1979 and operates a wide assortment of family-strengthening programs throughout more than 250 organizations in the state. This past April, Bridges organized Campbell Law’s involvement in PCANC’s Pinwheels for Prevention awareness event, in which pinwheels, the symbol of child abuse prevention, were planted within the exterior grounds of the law school campus.

A native of Blakely, Ga., Bridges obtained an associate of arts degree from Young Harris College in 1997, followed by earning two B.A. degrees in political science and criminal justice from the University of Georgia in 1999.
