Business Advisory Council members named to NC Mid-Market Fast 40 list

Two companies led by Lundy-Fetterman School of Business Advisory Council (BAC) members were recognized among North Carolina’s fastest growing Mid-Market companies for revenue and employment growth in the latest Business NC magazine. Meredith Rose (ProVantage Corporate Solutions) and Travis Burt (Transportation Impact) made the Fast 40 list, an annual ranking which recognizes mid-size companies based on revenue and employment growth. Burt and Rose were recently honored at a reception and awards ceremony held at the Pinehurst Resort.

“All of us at Campbell Business – faculty, staff, students, alumni, and fellow BAC members – congratulate Meredith and Travis on their recognition,” said Dean Kevin O’Mara. “We are quite fortunate to have quality and successful individuals such as Meredith and Travis involved in leading our business school.”

Burt and Rose have freely given their time and shared their expertise with business students by evaluating student pitches in a freshman business course. They also support Campbell students with scholarships, internships and full-time employment opportunities.

“ProVantage and Transportation Impact are built on  unique, innovative, and obviously successful business models that are instructive for our students to understand,” said O’Mara. “These two BAC members are outstanding role models for all Campbell Business students, particularly those considering pursuing entrepreneurship.”

The Lundy-Fetterman School of Business at Campbell University offers nine undergraduate majors, an MBA, a Masters in Trust and Wealth Management, and a forthcoming Masters in Accountancy (Fall 2020).  The school features a Center for Financial Literacy and Economic Education, the BB&T Business Fellows Program, the First Citizens Wealth Management Center (supporting the nation’s only undergraduate program in Trust & Wealth Management), students successfully competing in regional and national competitions, a satellite office at Raleigh’s leading entrepreneurial hub – HQ Raleigh, and only one of only eighteen Professional Golf Management programs in the country.
