Business School Library to hold Entrepreneur Meet-up 4/7

BUIES CREEK — In partnership with several other organizations, Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business Library will hold an Entrepreneur Meet-up Tuesday, April 7, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Lee County Public Library in Sanford, North Carolina.
The event is free and open to the public. Those interested in entrepreneurship and small businesses are especially encouraged to attend.
In addition to the meet-up serving as a networking opportunity, four guest speakers will make presentations, take questions, and hold an informal discussion. The speakers are
· Ann Blakely, of the Sanford-based Common Threads;
· Diana Michelotti, of the Apex-based Michelotti Media, a creative organization that works with artists with special needs;
· and Donnie Hall and Chad Spivey of Endor Paddle, a mission-based river rafting company in Sanford.
The Entrepreneur Meet-up is supported by grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the federal Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the N.C. Department of Cultural Resources. Partners include Lee County Library, Harnett County Library, Campbell University, the Small Business Center of Central Carolina Community College, and N.C. Fourth Sector Resource Project.
The grant was awarded in August 2014 to Campbell’s School of Business Library. Dan Maynard, the business librarian, serves as project manager.
