BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell Business School and Business North Carolina recently partnered to host an economic roundtable at Campbell Law School in downtown Raleigh. Campbell Business Associate Professor of Economics Dr. Mark Steckbeck served as one of seven panelists for the event.

Panel participants discussed the uncertainty of the current political climate, including President Donald J. Trump’s administration and gubernatorial changes within North Carolina, and how those issues and others will shape the economy in the coming months.
In addition to Dr. Steckbeck, participants included Kendal Bowman (Duke Energy Corp.), Christopher Chung (Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina Inc.), Kim Dawson (North Carolina Association of Realtors), Richard Reich (N.C. Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services), Dave Simpson (Carolinas AGC Inc.) and Jason Yuhase (Northwestern Mutual Investment Services LLC).
This past November, Dr. Steckbeck hosted a colloquium on Scottish Enlightenment philosophers David Hume and Adam Smith at Campbell Business.
