BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell Business School Dean Keith Faulkner and faculty partnered with Business North Carolina to host the 2015 Economic Forecast Roundtable on Monday, Dec. 15. The event featured eight panelists, including Professor Mark Steckbeck and Representative David Lewis, a 1994 Campbell Business graduate, who currently represents Harnett County in the state legislature.
“Campbell Business faculty were excited to discuss the economic forecast for North Carolina with business and government leaders from across the state,” said Faulkner. “The discussion provided valuable insight for business in 2015 and tackled pressing issues that may impact a fragile economic recovery.
“It is important for our faculty to engage with industry in order to deliver the most relevant business education possible as we blend theory delivered in the classroom with its practical application. Our partnership with Business North Carolina allows us access to leaders from many industry sectors.”
Participants discussed North Carolina’s projected 2015 economic forecast, discussing growth, regulation changes, market challenges, and how companies can best take advantage of the state’s current business climate.
