BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell Business has launched “The Coffee Break,” a weekly networking opportunity for students, faculty and staff to connect. Scheduled for each Wednesday from 9:45-10:15 a.m. next to the Lundy Fountain, the school will provide beverages and refreshments for attendees.
Approximately 200 members of the Campbell Business community attended the inaugural networking period this past Wednesday, Sept. 7.
“We all are very encouraged by this turnout and the interactions that were happening,” said Campbell Business Dean Dr. Kevin O’Mara. “The student clubs were able to showcase themselves and build awareness of why students should be involved.
“The purpose of the Coffee Break is not only to develop an engaging culture among all of us at Campbell Business but also allow students to get excited about opportunities here that are beyond the classroom. I’m sure the Coffee Break will evolve over time but we could not have been more pleased with the kickoff our staff put together.”
In addition to traditional networking and fellowship, student clubs, leaders, faculty and staff are encouraged to use the time as an opportunity to share upcoming events and initiatives with others.
