“We are very excited about the updating of our MBA program,” said Campbell Business MBA Program Director Somer Johnson. “These changes align our program with what employers are looking for in MBA graduates, yet still allow our students to tailor their education to fit their individual interests. In addition to the curriculum updates, the flexibility that our program offers is key to giving students an MBA experience that fits their needs and their busy schedules.”

The Campbell MBA is built with ten core courses and three elective courses, combining for 37 total credit hours. Download a complete breakdown of course offerings and descriptions of each.

“We feel our revised program offers a unique niche for our students. The embedded emphasis on analytics, innovation, digital marketing, and ethics are highly sought by today’s employers and will complement the more traditional business areas,” commented Campbell Business Dean Kevin O’Mara. “Our focus on practical, hands-on project experiences with actual companies along with our ability to offer individualized personal development due to our smaller classes while also connecting with our network of 12,000 Campbell alumni in the RTP area should resonate with students. We are committed to developing a program in downtown Raleigh with the feel and opportunities of a full-time program yet offered in a part-time setting. That is a rare niche.”

Prospective students can choose among three program formats to work toward obtaining their Campbell MBA:  MBA for Professionals, Online MBA and Full-Time MBA.

MBA for Professionals

The MBA for Professionals allows students to take evening classes at either our downtown Raleigh or our Buies Creek location, or take classes online. Students can choose which location to attend class at the beginning of each term, allowing for ultimate flexibility and convenience. Students can also choose the pace by which they move through the curriculum. Each course meets one night per week for eight weeks —  a feature which allows those who choose a more accelerated pace to complete the program in as little as 12 months.

Online MBA

The Online MBA allows students to earn their degree entirely online via classes taught by full-time Campbell Business faculty.

Full-Time MBA

The Full-Time MBA program is a traditional enrollment option, in which students take courses during the day and at night. The program is ideal for students with minimal work experience to complete the degree in two years, attending courses on main campus in Buies Creek or online.

In addition to the aforementioned program highlights, the Campbell MBA offers dual degree and certificate programs, a study abroad option, small class sizes and supportive faculty. Best of all, the program is highly affordable in comparison to other programs in our region.
