Campbell Business to host Kevin Carr

Campbell University 2016 Winter Commencement

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell Business School will host PRO2CEO CEO and Principal Kevin Carr for a guest lecture on Monday, March 21 at 5 p.m. in Lynch Auditorium. Carr, a former Vice President of Social Responsibility and Player Programs for the National Basketball Association and NBA Development League, will speak on leadership and the four people you meet on the way to top.

The guest lecture is open to all Campbell Business students and members of the university community.

“We are so excited and blessed to have Kevin speak to our students,” said Campbell Business Interim Dean Dr. Edward Fubara. “He is highly sought after by corporations and organizations around the country. Having him here in the Creek is a great opportunity to expose our students to someone who has battled the mean streets of Manhattan, networked with leaders in sports and business, and helped to build one of the most recognizable brands in the world.”

Carr is a 20-year sports business and professional development executive. An award-winning transition expert, author, leadership coach, and keynote speaker, he has assisted in talent development for numerous Fortune 500 companies, including AT&T, IBM, Siemens, and the Walt Disney Company. Carr is also a nationally and internationally known speaker, having delivered keynote addresses and facilitated trainings to ASMP, NIKE, NIKE Canada, Merrill Lynch, and the NCAA among others.
