Honoring the men and women who serve our community as firefighters, Campbell University’s annual Heroes Run will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, at 8 a.m. with registration starting at 6:30 a.m. The run will begin in front of the Athletic Department Office on the Campbell campus.According to Ken Frenette, head coach for the Cross Country program at Campbell, the Heroes Run seeks to honor those who have contributed to their community.”It is a great opportunity for the citizens of the community to get some exercise and show our support and appreciation for a group of men and women who have served our community in their role as firefighters,” he said.For more information on how to register, go to www.gocamels.com.
