Campbell to hold inaugural Career Week

Campbell University will hold Career Week during the week of Oct. 22-27, 2017. The event will be the first of its kind for the University and aims to provide students with resources and opportunities to ensure post-graduation success.

“Career Week is a manifestation of the collaboration across many units on campus, all who support students in fulfilling their professional potential,” said Betsy Dunn-Williams, director of academic support and career development.

An event like Career Week represents an early accomplishment of the University’s strategic plan focus on career development and increasing student exposure to and utilization of existing career resources.

“We are excited to provide six days of programming intentionally designed to meet students at every step in their journey of career exploration and preparation,” Dunn-Williams said.

The week features the Student Networking Dinner, where juniors and seniors can network with alumni, brush up on interview etiquette and learn resume best practices, an internship fair in downtown Raleigh, and multiple industry-specific career fairs.

Free professional headshots, resume reviews and LinkedIn reviews will be offered on campus as well.
