Campbell holds largest Junior Visitation Day

Buies Creek — Campbell University held its largest ever Junior Visitation Day on Saturday, May 16 in the John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center.

More than 700 rising seniors and their parents and guests attended the event, getting a first glimpse of the academic and campus life opportunities available at Campbell.

Following a University Showcase, Campbell University president Jerry Wallace welcomed students to the Buies Creek campus.

“Campbell University is very pleased to have you all come and visit our beautiful campus. We hope you’ll become a part of Class of 2014,” said Wallace.

After Admissions staff representatives explained the admissions process and financial aid opportunities, students were able to meet with departmental faculty members and tour the classroom and lab facilities.

“Visitation Day was a tremendous success,” said Jason Hall, Assistant Vice President for Admissions. “It is so important for students to get a feel for our campus and learn of the many advantages of attending Campbell University.”
