Campbell Law Career Center Holds Mock Interview Program

RALEIGH, N.C. –Forty-five Campbell Law students participated in the career center’s mock interview program on Friday, Feb. 10. Each student was paired with one of nine participating employers, five of which earned their juris doctor at Campbell Law, in an effort to improve their interview skills prior to seeking professional employment. Each participating employer volunteered their time to help better prepare the next generation of Campbell Law attorneys.

“I am extremely pleased to see so many of our students gain practical interview experience,” said Julie Beavers, Campbell Law Career & Professional Development Center Director. “The mock interview program provides students a valuable opportunity to refine their interview skills in a real-world setting with practicing attorneys. The interviewers provide immediate feedback on how to improve interview techniques and share insight on what employers look for in potential hires. This program is a great investment for our students.”

The Campbell Law Career Center also hosted a networking luncheon as a part of the program. The luncheon provided students an opportunity to get to know each participating interviewer, representing several different types of law and employment throughout North Carolina.
