RALEIGH — Strengthening its already historically strong relationship with the military community, Campbell Law School has announced the establishment of the Honoratos Emeritus Scholarship. The scholarship will award any qualified veteran offered admission to Campbell Law an annual $15,000 renewable scholarship.
For veterans that reside in North Carolina, the Honoratos Emeritus Scholarship essentially amounts to a full-tuition scholarship when combined with the G.I. Bill.
“Matriculating veterans have comprised an essential part of the Campbell Law community throughout the years, and they have historically performed very well in the classroom and on the bar exam,” said Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard. “It is our hope that this new scholarship will provide an additional incentive for veterans interested in a legal education to join our community.”
Earlier this month Campbell University was named to the coveted Military Friendly Schools list, which honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace U.S. military service members, veterans and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus.
