Campbell Law Federalist Society to hold memorial service for Justice Scalia

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Campbell Law Federalist Society will hold a memorial service in honor of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. Area residents are invited to join the Campbell Law community in attending the service. Paid parking is available at the City of Raleigh Municipal Parking Deck across from the law school on West Morgan Street.

The program for the memorial will include several guest speakers, including Bishop Michael F. Burbidge, Supreme Court of North Carolina Associate Justice Paul Newby, Campbell Law Associate Professor Greg Wallace, and Federalist Society Triangle Chapter President Kevin Hales. Several Campbell Law students will also reflect on their favorite quotes and opinions from Justice Scalia’s time on the Supreme Court.

Justice Scalia served on the Supreme Court from September 1986 until his passing earlier this month.
