Raleigh, NC – The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University is the host school for the 40th Annual Southern Region Black Law Students Association Convention (BLSA) in Raleigh, Jan. 12-16. Over 500 African-American law students, along with lawyers, judges and legal professionals from across the South, will gather to learn and network in the capital city.
Campbell Law School will sponsor a luncheon for attendees and host the convention’s two student advocacy events, the Frederick Douglass Moot Court and Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competitions. More than 150 Raleigh-area attorneys, judges and legal advocates have volunteered their time to judge the 44 student teams that will compete at the North Carolina Business Court and the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Other convention activities include a law review symposium, a job fair, and empowerment sessions.
