RALEIGH, N.C. – The top high school mock trial teams in the country will descend upon downtown Raleigh this weekend for the 2015 National High School Mock Trial Championship, and Campbell Law will serve as one of the host sites. The law school is one of four venues for preliminary round competitions, May 15-16.
“We are happy to serve as a competition site for this fantastic event,” said Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard. “We have a robust and successful advocacy program at our law school, so it makes perfect sense to open our doors to many of the top high school mock trial teams in the country. I am personally looking forward to serving as a competition judge on Friday.”
In addition to Campbell Law, preliminary round competitions will also be held at the Wake County Justice Center, Wake County Courthouse, and North Carolina State Bar Building. The Wake County Justice Center will host the championship round on Saturday, May 16.
