Campbell Law to co-sponsor study abroad program in Cambridge

RALEIGH, North Carolina – Campbell Law School has entered into an agreement with Samford University Cumberland School of Law to co-sponsor a highly regarded summer program in Cambridge, England. The agreement will provide Campbell Law students with additional study abroad opportunities, as well as a platform for faculty members to teach internationally. Professors Lisa Lukasik, Sarah Ludington and Lucas Osborn have already served as faculty in the program.

“We are happy to enter into this formal agreement with our colleagues at Samford and provide this unique opportunity to our students and faculty members alike,” said Campbell Law Dean J. Rich Leonard. “Raleigh and North Carolina are becoming more entwined with the global community through any number of businesses and corporations, and I am convinced that this will provide students with meaningful learning opportunities that will pay dividends as their careers unfold.”

The five-week program in Cambridge provides students with an opportunity for comparative study of U.S., British, and European Union law. The program is based out of historical Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.
