Campbell Law to hold conference on international trade law for entrepreneurs

RALEIGH, N.C. – Area startups aspiring to grow internationally are invited to attend a free conference on international trade law for entrepreneurs at Campbell Law School on Saturday, March 19 beginning at 9 a.m. Wake County Judge Paul Ridgeway will deliver the keynote address for the event, which will include numerous outstanding lawyers and government officials participating in panel discussions on government resources, regulatory compliance, and transnational issues.

The conference, organized by Campbell Law third-year student Freddy Iwan and associate professor Kevin Lee, aims to aid entrepreneurs wishing to engage in global business. The program will benefit those wishing to make international transactions, raise capital from non-U.S. citizens, and protect intellectual property rights abroad.

“There are tremendous international opportunities for entrepreneurs,” said Lee. “I am very proud of Mr. Iwan for organizing such a high quality event. He is an exceptional person.“

Leading attorneys and professionals from SAS, inVentiv Health, Wyrick Robbins, Smith Anderson, Ward and Smith, The Nagae Law Firm, Timberlake Law, Nexsen Pruet and NC State will participant in the panel discussions.
