Campbell Law to Host Panel Discussion on the Constitution

RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law School will host “Conversations on the Constitution,” an expert panel discussion on the United States Constitution, on Monday, Nov. 12, at the law school. A preceding reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Pope Foyer, with the program following at 7 p.m. The event is open to the Campbell Law and NC State communities, as well as the general public.

The event will be held in conjunction with NC State University’s “Constitution Day.”

The panel discussion will include a broad set of important topics related to the Constitution, including current cases before the Supreme Court of the United States. Other topics will include comparative constitutions, civil rights, gender issues, human rights, and judicial politics.

Panel contributors include NC State Public & International Affairs Associate Professor Dr. Robert Moog, NC State Department of Political Science Chair and Associate Professor Dr. Traciel Reid, and Brian Shaw, adjunct professor at Campbell Law School and partner at Schwartz & Shaw, PLLC. Campbell Law Assistant Professor of Law Sarah Ludington will serve as the moderator.
