RALEIGH, N.C. – Campbell Law School will host Parker Poe’s In-House Counsel Forum on Monday, June 30 at 8:30 a.m. The highly informative session will review the Association of Corporate Counsel’s (ACC) Chief Legal Officer 2014 survey. Campbell Law Assistant Professor of Law Sarah Ludington will serve as a featured speaker for the event.
ACC President and Chief Executive Officer Veta Richardson will provide an overview of the trends and topics that are considered top issues by general counsel. Jonathan Rajewski, Director of the Patrick Leahy Center for Digital Forensics and Cyber Security, will also explore the ways that digital risks impact all aspects of an in-house legal practice. Rajewski will offer practical guidance on how in-house legal teams can better prepare for and respond to cyber incidents to reduce their company’s financial, legal, and reputational exposure.
An emerging scholar in the fields of free speech and privacy law, Ludington will survey recent Federal Trade Commission enforcement actions taken against corporations for breaches of data security.
