The album debuted at number three on the Billboard Album Charts and has been on VH1’s Top 20 Countdown.
Cook’s single “Light On” dominated the AOL Top 40 radio chart for eight consecutive weeks and is currently in the Top 10 at Hot AC radio. Another single, “The Time of My Life,” also recently went platinum with over one million tracks sold. “The Time of My Life” is not only the biggest single debut single but the biggest selling single in the history of “American Idol,” holding the number one position at mainstream AC radio for nearly four months straight.
“We’re excited to be able to bring another major recording artist to Campbell University,” said Chris O’Connor, director of Student Activities. “But it couldn’t have been possible without the dedication of students from the Campus Activities Board and the Student Government Association.”
