Campbell presents “Little Women,” the musical

The Campbell University Theatre Arts Department will kick off its fall musical, “Little Women,” during Homecoming festivities this weekend, Oct. 19-20. The play will be presented again Oct. 25-27. All performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Ellis Theatre of the Rogers Fine Arts Center. Tickets are $7 general admission and may be purchased at the door. Based on Louisa May Alcott’s heartwarming book “Little Women” follows the story of four courageous sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, as they grow up and face hardship in the Civil War era.”The play is the story of family, love and courage in the face of adversity,” said director Georgia Martin. “It celebrates the conviction and determination of youth. It’s a timeless tale to delight all.”
