Students celebrate graduation by turning their tassels

BUIES CREEK, North Carolina — Campbell University will confer over 450 degrees during its winter commencement ceremony Saturday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. in the John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center.

Undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students will participate in the ceremony, including the inaugural doctor of physical therapy class.

Dr. Hope Williams, president of North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU), will deliver the commencement address. In her role with NCICU, she advocates for public policy issues at state and federal levels, enlists support for students and campuses through scholarship, and encourages collaborative partnerships among colleges and universities in the state.

As a service to graduates and their families and friends, Campbell offers online video streaming of the ceremony on the day of the event.
