Buies Creek, N.C.—Christian professors of Communication Studies from across the country will converge on Campbell University, Friday, April 1, and Saturday, April 2, for the fifth annual conference on Faith and Communication. The conference will be held in Campbell’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business.
Representatives from DePaul University, Illinois State University, Delaware State University and Carson-Newman University among others will present academic papers on faith and communication issues ranging from news coverage by the Christian Broadcasting Network to William Jennings Bryan’s faith and how it informed his journalism. A student film festival is set to highlight the Friday evening activities.
The conference is designed to promote scholarship and fellowship among Christian scholars who have a common interest in faith and communication.
