BUIES CREEK, North Carolina – Due to popular demand, Campbell University has added a second “An Evening with J. Bradley Creed” presidential tour event in Harnett County.
The encore presentation will be held Thursday, Nov. 12, beginning at 7 p.m., at the Leon Levine Hall of Medical Sciences. Home to the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine, the facility is located on Campbell’s Health Sciences Campus off U.S. 421 about a quarter-mile from main campus.
Though the event is free and open to all Campbell alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends, pre-registration is required.
Designed to give the Campbell community the opportunity to meet first-year President J. Bradley Creed and hear more about Campbell today, “An Evening with J. Bradley Creed” will feature an exclusive video about Campbell; short speeches from a student, alumnus, and Creed; and a question-and-answer session with the president.
Campbell has held four “An Evening with J. Bradley Creed” events across North Carolina so far, and all have drawn capacity crowds. Based on surveys following each event, 93 percent of attendees said the event met or exceeded their expectations, 100 percent said the event reflected well on the quality of Campbell as an institution, and 94 percent said they would recommend attending the event to others.
In addition to the Nov. 12 event in Harnett County, there are seven remaining events that will be held at various locations in North Carolina, two locations in Virginia, and one location in San Diego, Calif. An event originally scheduled for October in Wilmington, North Carolina, was rescheduled due to inclement weather and will now be held Feb. 18 at the Cape Fear Country Club.
