Campbell to host N.C. Intramural Flag Football Tournament

Buies Creek, N.C.—For the thirdconsecutive year, Campbell University has been selected to host the North Carolina Intramural Flag Football Tournament by the N.C. Intramural and Recreational Sports Association. Approximately 15 teams have registered to play in the tournament held Oct. 22-24.

“This tournament gives us a great opportunity to showcase the campus and especially the wonderful growth of our campus,” said Andy Shell, Director of Campus Recreation. “This year, we’ve put a great deal of emphasis on putting our best forward for the participants.”

The two-day event will be governed by the National Intramural and Recreation Sports Association rules. Among the competitors are North Carolina A&T University, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and East Carolina University.

“A great deal of hard work has been put into this event by every member of our staff in the past few months,” said Shell. “The Campbell University Department of Recreation is proud to be hosting this event.”
