BUIES CREEK — Campbell University is holding a series of events across North Carolina and the nation this fall and winter to give alumni and friends the opportunity to meet first-year President J. Bradley Creed and to hear more about today’s Campbell, which is in a period of unprecedented growth and record enrollment.
Currently, there are 11 “An Evening with J. Bradley Creed” events planned to be held at eight locations in North Carolina, two locations in Virginia, and one location in San Diego, California. Other events may be added.
The first one will be held Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. in Dunn. The event is sold out, as more than 250 alumni, students, parents, and supporters have registered to attend.
“We are thrilled to introduce the new president of Campbell University, Dr. J. Bradley Creed, to Campbell alumni and friends across North Carolina and beyond,” said Britt Davis, vice president for institutional advancement and assistant to the president. “The response to these events has been tremendous and we expect sold-out evenings throughout the fall and spring. This is a wonderful opportunity for attendees to not only meet Dr. Creed but also to learn about the progress and priorities of one of North Carolina’s preeminent private universities.”
The events will feature an exclusive video about Campbell; short speeches from Campbell students, alumni, and Creed; and a question-and-answer session with the president.
Though the events are free, pre-registration is required.
