Campbell to offer 2 new dual degrees this fall

Campbell University 2016 Winter Commencement

BUIES CREEK — The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences is expanding its partnership with the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business to offer two new dual degree programs at Campbell University this fall. Students may now earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) while simultaneously earning a Master of Science in clinical research or Master of Science in public health degree.

This new expansion will allow more students from the health sciences programs to cultivate management skills, gain exposure to relevant areas of business, and expand their problem-solving abilities. By earning a dual degree, students have the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills, better comprehend health care needs, and enhance their future careers by learning to perceive issues from a boarder perspective than their colleagues.

The initial partnership between CPHS and the School of Business began with offering Doctor of Pharmacy students the ability to pursue an MBA while earning their pharmacy degree. On average, approximately 15 percent of each pharmacy class matriculates through the graduate-level business program a year.
