Buies Creek – Campbell University will offer a winter softball clinic for girls in the local community. The clinic, open to girls ages 8-18, will be held Saturday, Jan. 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Willard Harris hitting facility and Eakes Softball field on the Buies Creek campus.
The event will consist of three sessions: a defensive clinic, hitting clinic and pitching clinic, grouped by age. Participants can take part in one, two or all three sessions. Girls will get the chance to meet the Campbell players and learn new skills from the college team.
This is a great way to kick start a softball player’s 2010 season with instruction that will help build her confidence and understanding in the game.
