Update (1:40 p.m.): Due to anticipated inclement weather on Friday, classes will end and the university will cease normal operations for the Buies Creek campus at 2 p.m., and the Raleigh campus at 2:30 p.m. for the remainder of the day.
The university will resume normal operations on Saturday.
(Update: 8 a.m.): University officials urge all faculty, staff and students to use caution if traveling to campus and take precautions for personal safety. Faculty have the flexibility to hold classes remotely. Students should work their instructor to make up any work missed. Employees should also speak with their supervisors regarding remote work options.
