PINEHURST, N.C. – The Trust Education Foundation, in conjunction with Campbell Business School, recently hosted its 27th annual Trust Advisors Forum, Feb. 25-28, at Pinehurst Resort. The Forum is both the premier and the largest trust conference in the nation. This year more than 265 senior trust managers representing 110 institutions and 30 states ventured to Pinehurst for this cutting-edge continuing education program. In addition, 65 graduating trust seniors and students in the Campbell Business Master of Trust & Wealth Management program joined the Forum attendees for a day.
Thanks to the efforts of the Foundation, 87 of the current majors are receiving trust scholarship aid from the profit generated by the Forum and Southeastern Trust School over the years. Of equal or even greater value are the placement contacts made at the Forum. Senior managers such as Dave Coffaro, who heads up all of trust and wealth for Wells Fargo, and Paula Baker of JP Morgan Chase attend the Forum, which is a veritable “Who’s Who” in the trust and wealth industry each year. They are there because of the Campbell Trust program.
Thanks to the reputation of Campbell Business students and our almost 2,000 alumni in the industry, Campbell Trust enjoys a 95 percent placement rate and the largest financial institutions in the nation compete for our students. For bright, ambitious, dynamic, students with a strong work ethic, and desire to help others, trust is an amazing program and a very rewarding profession.
