Campbell University’s table tennis team made its debut at a tournament at Duke University on Saturday, Nov.10. Campbell was one of six universities participating in this Carolina Division of the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association. Campbell was represented by senior Marc Sifre, president of the table tennis club, Sebastian Thesleff, Ian Kahler, Beto Mondini and Victor Hielte. Dr. Brian Bergemann, professor of exercise science, is the faculty advisor to the club. Campbell beat Clemson and University of North Carolina at the tournament. Several members of the table tennis team will participate in an open competition at Middle Creek Recreation Center on Nov. 17.
