The Campbell University yearbook staff has been recognized by Taylor Publishing with an Honorable Mention Award of Excellence honoring its accomplishments in yearbook design and coverage. The Campbell University yearbook is included in Taylor Publishing’s 2008 Yearbook Yearbook. “The 2008 Yearbook Yearbook marks the 22nd edition. It’s the biggest — more schools are featured than ever before. It’s the best — Taylor customers are setting the bar for scholastic journalism. The competition gets tougher year after year,” said editor Marilyn Scoggins. “Advisers and journalists across the nation peruse the pages for theme concepts, page designs as well as cover and photo ideas.” Yearbooks published by Taylor for the 2007 school year were evaluated in one or more of the following areas: cover design, theme development and layout design. Taylor Publishing recognizes only the top ten percent of yearbook staffs with honorable mention recognition. “The Certificate of Recognition is given each year to a small percentage of yearbook staffs nationwide that exhibit diligence in yearbook,” marketing manager Mike Taylor said. “We applaud these staffs for their outstanding work and support in their efforts in scholastic journalism.” Taylor Publishing, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is a major publisher of yearbooks nationwide and the industry’s technology leader in digital innovation. Taylor provides training, technical support and printing services to elementary school, middle school, high school and college yearbook staffs.
