Campbell University Recognized for Yearbook Excellence

The Campbell University yearbook staff has been recognized by Taylor Publishing with an Award of Excellence honoring its accomplishments in yearbook design and coverage. The Campbell University yearbook is featured in the 2007 Yearbook Yearbook. Judges selected the Campbell University yearbook among the best.”The judges come from different parts of the nation and represent varied school sizes. Their job is not an easy one. The competition gets tougher each year because staffs are doing an excellent job of creating great, student-oriented yearbooks,” editor Marilyn Scoggins said. “Taylor Publishing includes the best of the best in Yearbook Yearbook. Advisers and journalists across the nation enjoy looking through the pages for design ideas.”Yearbooks published by Taylor for the 2006 school year were evaluated in one or more of the following areas: cover design, theme development and layout design. Taylor Publishing recognizes only the top five percent of yearbook staffs for outstanding yearbook achievement.”The Award of Excellence is given each year to a small percentage of yearbook staffs nationwide that demonstrate excellence in yearbook,” marketing manager Mike Taylor said. “We applaud these staffs for their outstanding work and support in their efforts in scholastic journalism.”
