Campbell University will host the All-State Youth Choir and Block Party on Tuesday, July 15 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the Academic Circle. There will be inflatable games, face painting, a hot dog dinner, sno cones, cotton candy and the choir will be performing — and it’s all free.The All-State Youth Choir is a group sponsored by the Music and Worship Team of the Baptist State Convention and is made up of high school students from across the state that audition each year.”The choir is amazing,” said Kelly Rhodes, intern at the Office of the Campus Minister. “These youth have a wonderful gift, work very hard on the music and they never disappoint. The Block Party is a great family-friendly activity and a way for folks and churches in the community to connect to Campbell.”In the event of rain, dinner will be served in Taylor Hall and the concert will take place in Turner Auditorium.
