#CampbellBusinessWeek to kick off on Feb. 16

Campbell University 2016 Winter Commencement

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell Business will host Business Week with nine events spread across the week of February 16-20. Students are encouraged to join in and share their experiences via social media by using the hashtag #CampbellBusinessWeek on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Random participants will be selected to receive a Campbell Business t-shirt.

Business Week has been held annually since 2006. This year’s theme — Reenergize. Rethink. Rebrand. — features a heavy focus on entrepreneurship and branding. It’s a theme that marries well with Campbell Business, which recently implemented the second phase of its rebranding campaign since Dean Keith Faulkner joined the school in January 2014. In May 2014 the school ushered in a new logo, followed by a new website in January 2015.

“Branding is a vital component of any successful business,” said Faulkner. “In today’s business environment, especially as competition continues to increase, development of a strong brand is an essential element to building value in a business.”
